Blackjack Strategy

If becoming a Blackjack pro is on your bucket list, you’ll need to familiarize yourself with the basic components of the game. In this Blackjack strategy guide, you’ll be dealt with three basic components of Blackjack; hitting and standing, doubling down and splitting. Learn when to hit, stand, double down and split, instead of making random decisions when playing in the tables. Who knows? Maybe you’ll find your Blackjack winning strategy below.  Of course, being an expert on Bitcoin Blackjack rules can help a lot as well.

Hitting and Standing

Knowing whether to hit or stand is an inevitable decision any player must face. Keep in mind, though, that because the dealer must always take a hit on a hand value of soft 17 or lower, you will not win as much money if you’re holding less than 17, unless the dealer busts. If your hand is less than 17 and the dealer has an Ace, Jack, King, Queen, 10, 9, or 8, you have to take a hit. Why? Whenever the dealer holds one of these cards, his chances of busting are slim and unless you clear 16, your odds of winning are also slim.

On the other hand, if your hand is above 12 and the dealer shows a 4, 5, or 6, your best option is to stand. When the dealer is showing any of these cards, his chances of being bust is high. Remember, every time you bust yourself you lose out on a win, and this is something you don’t want to happen.

Double Down

The best way to boost your bankroll is by successfully doubling down whenever possible. Although this is the most efficient way to increase your winnings, if you do this in the wrong situation, you’ll end up losing twice as much, so be careful when doubling down.

If you’re holding 10 or higher and the dealer has a 9 or lower, double it up. If you’ve got a hand totaling 11, double it up. Regardless of the dealer’s up card, if you go on to hit a 10, the dealer will not beat you. Lastly, if you have a 9 or if you’ve got a soft hand that falls between 13 and 17 and the dealer’s got a 4, 5, or 6, double it up. Use these tricks and watch your bankroll soar up north.

Splitting

Another Blackjack strategy to learn is “splitting.” When you split, it can end in two ways: split and win huge sums or split a winning hand into a pair of losers and go home. Whenever splitting comes into your mind, always remember these tips:

  • Never split 10 and 5, regardless of whether the 10 is the actual card or a face card
  • Split 2 and 3 against the dealer’s 4, 5, or 6
  • When you’re dealt with two Aces, split them up. Aces are a gold mine for splitting, since their value can be 1or 11.

There you go! These are the basic Blackjack strategies that will have you playing like a pro, or at least, close to it. This is a perfect Blackjack strategy for anyone looking to quickly learn the ropes without taking the time to memorize an entire basic strategy. After having the understanding of this, you will surely rake winnings in when you play Bitcoin Blackjack.
